Intheknowpeel.ca is part of an awareness campaign educating teens and young adults about sexually transmitted infections (STI), safer sex, birth control and Public Health - Healthy Sexuality Clinics operated by the Region of Peel.

- Youth aged 15 - 24 years have the highest rates of Chlamydia and Gonorrhea, two of the most common STIs*.
- In fact, Chlamydia infections in Peel have increased by 73% between 1996 and 2004.
