Pregnancy FAQs

Confidential pregnancy test

I’d like to make an appointment for a pregnancy test at your Brampton health clinic.

Will I have to provide personal information like my phone number and address? I’d like to keep my visit confidential.

All of the services at our Peel Public Health, Healthy Sexuality Clinics are free and confidential. You don’t need to provide an OHIP card.

We do ask for your contact information in case we need to reach you. Our clinic staff will ask you how you’d like to be reached if they need to contact you to follow up. If you have a cell phone, we will always use that number first. If we need to call your home phone, our clinic numbers are blocked on call display and we use a code name.

During your appointment a doctor or nurse will do a urine pregnancy test. This test will take only a few minutes and your results will be available right away.

Please call 905-791-5905 to make an appointment at our 150 Central Park Drive clinic in Brampton. This clinic also has drop-in hours every Monday from 1:30 p.m. to 6:00.p.m. and Wednesdays from 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Drop-in clients are seen on a first-come, first-served basis. Our doctors and nurses do their best to see each client who drops in; however, a high number of clients might mean they can’t see you on the day you drop in. If that happens, our staff members will be happy to book an appointment for you or refer you to another clinic location.
